You’ve found the perfect gift and now you want it wrapped in a pretty package.
Well, your favorite online retailer may not offer that option. Less than half of the Internet Retailer Top 25 online stores offer gift wrapping. And, a StellaService look at nearly 500 online retailers showed less than 30% will put a bow on your order.
Still, if gift wrap is a priority, you have a wide range of shopping choices.
For $6, Victoria’s Secret sends gifts in their signature pink box, ribbon-tied with a card carrying a personal message. Macy’s also charges $6 to send gifts wrapped in their signature metallic keepsake box and grosgrain bow. Others in the Top 25 that offer gift-wrapping include Amazon.com, Apple, J.C. Penney, QVC and Williams-Sonoma.
Kohls is another online retailer that takes care to dress up orders.
“Our online gift services option, available for selection during the check-out process, can transform a purchase into a personalized gift,” said Vicki Shamion, Kohl’s senior vice president of public and community relations. “Depending on the size and shape of your gift, we will use an elegantly embossed Kohl’s gift box, or wrap the gift item in gift wrap specially designed to suit the occasion. On all wrapped and boxed items, we’ll add an attractive bow and ribbon.”
